Clay Pigeon Shooting
ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR ACTIVITIES
Clay pigeon shooting is soaring in popularity because the thrill of the experience is in the personal achievement. Not as easy as it seems, it demands calm concentration, a keen eye and quick reactions.
At our venues, you will learn to perfect your aim and time your shots and soon you will be notching up your 'kills'. Of course, these are not real birds and no one gets hurt, making it a great sport for all - young and old, men and women alike.
Learn first hand from the experts in a safe and friendly environment. Why not find out if you have what it takes to become a sharp shooter in one of Britain's fastest growing sports.
WOMEN AND YOUNGER PARTICIPANTS
Most of our venues have less powerful guns such as 20 bore and 410 shotguns, which have reduced recoil and are more suited to people with lighter frames.
Q&As
Do I have to possess a current shotgun licence?
A: No. Sites have an exemption certificate allowing them to provide clay pigeon shooting facilities to people who do not possess a shotgun certificate. However, if you have been banned from using a firearm because of a custodial prison sentence, then you cannot shoot at any clay pigeon shoot in the United Kingdom.
Q: Is there an age limit?
A: No, but children who are too small will not be allowed to participate for safety reasons.
Q: Are the sites fully insured?
A: Yes. Most sites have at least £10,000,000 worth of public liability insurance. Check this amount when booking.
Q: I want to make a last minute booking; can I pay by debit / credit card over the phone?
A: Yes, no problem
